The Pursuit of Happyness

Before going to share the experience of this awesome movie i should say something about the hero in this movie Mr.Will smith he is such a great actor with a bunch of awesome movie that he had been acted so far....beyond an actor he is also a narrator.. even this movie is narrated by himself.and the director of this movie is Gabriele_Muccino he is also such a great italian director he worked with Will smith in another famous movie "seven pounds" which was handpicked by will smith to direct his movie....
The best part of him is the way he act on every emotional situation.....like that stuff is also worked so good in this movie.. and the story goes beyond a typical urban struggled life..and touches each minds with his competing mind on each every aspects of life.. and his son Jaden smith also played as his son in this movie.a person who is working in a marketing sector must watch this movie. and even most of the marketing sector used to play this movie in their team meating in order to get some inspiration from this movie.

about the movie

The Pursuit of Happyness is a 2006 American biographical drama film based on Chris Gardner's nearly one-year struggle with homelessness. Directed by Gabriele Muccino, the film features Will Smith as Gardner, an on-and-off-homeless salesman-turned stockbroker. Smith's son Jaden Smith co-stars, making his film debut as Gardner's son Christopher Jr.
The screenplay by Steven Conrad is based on the best-selling memoir written by Gardner with Quincy Troupe. The film was released on December 15, 2006, by Columbia Pictures. For his performance, Smith, was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globefor Best Actor. The unusual spelling of the film's title comes from a sign Gardner saw when he was homeless. In the film, "happiness" is misspelled as "happyness" outside the daycare facility Gardner's son attends.

PLOT

In 1981 San FranciscoChris Gardner (Will Smith) invests his entire life savings in portable bone-density scanners which he tries to demonstrate and sell to doctors. The investment proves to be a white elephant, which financially breaks the family and as a result, his wife Linda (Thandie Newton) leaves him and moves to New York. Their son Christopher (Jaden Smith) remains with his father. While downtown trying to sell one of his scanners, Chris meets Jay Twistle (Brian Howe), a manager for Dean Witter and impresses him by solving a Rubik's Cube during a short cab ride. Chris does not have enough money for the cab fare and flees into a subway station where he barely escapes the cab driver but loses one of his bone scanners in the process. This new relationship with Twistle earns him the chance to become an intern stockbroker.

Despite arriving there unkempt and shabbily dressed due to being arrested the previous day for unpaid parking tickets and Chris didn't have enough time to make the appointment on time, Chris is offered the internship. Chris is further set back when his bank account isgarnished by the IRS for unpaid income taxes, and he and his young son are evicted. As a result they are homeless, and are forced at one point to stay in a bathroom at a subway station. Motivation drives him to find the Glide Memorial United Methodist Church, which has a homeless shelter primarily for single mothers and their children. The church's owner does not let him stay due to the fact that it is for women and children, although she tells him about a local church that also provides shelter, but has very limited space. Due to demand for the limited rooms, Chris must frantically race from his internship work early each afternoon in order to land a place in line. Chris finds the bone scanner that he lost in the subway station from a demented man who believes it to be a time machine and it is now damaged, but Chris finally repairs it.
Disadvantaged by his limited work hours, and knowing that maximizing his client contacts and profits is the only way to earn the one paid position that he and his 19 competitors are fighting for, Chris develops a number of ways to make phone sales calls more efficiently. He also reaches out to potential high value customers, defying protocol. One sympathetic prospect takes him and his son to a San Francisco 49ers game. Regardless of his challenges, Chris never reveals his lowly circumstances to his co-workers, even going so far as to lend one of his bosses five dollars for a cab, a sum he can't afford.
Concluding his internship, Chris is called into a meeting with his managers. His work has paid off and he is offered the position. Fighting back tears, he rushes to his son's daycare, hugging him. They walk down the street, joking with each other and are passed by a man in a business suit (the real Chris Gardner in a cameo). The epilogue reveals that Chris went on to form his own multi-million dollar brokerage firm.

this is all about this movie..if you are a business person still you miss to watch this movie.. please i requesting you to make some time to was this most inspirational movie....

The art of "photography"

A photograph is life distilled and preserved for eternity. An expressive face, a fleeting moment in nature, an abstract shape- these are the fundamentals of photography. A photograph conveys, in a way no words can, a sense of the mystery and beauty of life, nature, and the achievements of mankind....

         THE HISTORY OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography as we know it today is the result of a gradual understanding of the properties of lenses and light sensitive materials. As early as the sixteenth century, artists used the camera obscura, a device that used a lens to project an image on a glass screen. At roughly the same time, chemists were experimenting with light sensitive salts, hoping to record lasting images.

The First Photograph

It took a French scientist by the name of Joseph Nicéphore Niépce to successfully combine the two concepts in 1827. Placing a plate coated with the light-sensitive material bitumen inside a camera obscura, he created the world's oldest existing photograph.

Review about AKASH tablet

                         Aakash tablet review

Aakash tablet, the only Tab that hogged the limelight across the world on its launch and also called the cheapest tablet. This tab has created a revolution in tech world. The manufacturing company has got 14 million bookings in just 14 days . This cheapest tablet was launched by HRD Minister Kapil Silbal on OCt 5th 2011 with the aim to bridge the gap in tech between rich and poor. He said "The rich have access to the digital world, the poor and ordinary have been excluded. Aakash will end that digital divide". The Indian Government handled the project to the UK based company called Datawind. This company is experienced in manufacturing many electronic devices from past 22 years. According to the reports, till now Datawind has got 20 million bookings. The Made in India Tab raised lot of questions when it comes to this product. Datawind is specialized in making mobiles and Internet devices like pocket surfer and many other. To manufacture the tablet in India, the company has set up a manufacturing unit in Medchal (Outskirts of Hyderabad).

How Aakash Tablet is made?

This is a made in India prouct. How products are made today is they require many components and literally Aakash Tab has 800 components which includes a whole variety of chips, touch panel, plastics, cabling , Screen and alot more.
The 7 inch screen comes from south korea, micro processor come from us and other components from all over the world, including India and also china. Well, in detail 39-40 % of the components come from south korea, around 24% from China , 16% components are made in India, 16 % components from US and rest from other countries. Then all these components are bought into the factory and they test, build and assemble in the factory. Building, testing and assembling are all done at QUAD Electronic Solution at Hyderabad.

What's their Aim ?

Their ultimate aim is to bring down the price of the Aakash tablet to $10. MD of QUAD Electronics, Mr. Raminder Singh Soin said, "It is possible and we can do it. It is also high time that the Indian manufacturing companies stand-up and prove that we are capable of doing it. Once we completely indigenise the product, we will be able to bring down the price to $10 or We will make a better Tablet with more specifications and the present Price."

Based on the complaints on Aakash 1, Government and the Company has decided to provide a Tab with better performance and more specifications at the same price and now the upgraded version of Aakash Tab is called Ubislate 7+.

Government Aim Recently, Government said they need more 2 crore Aakash Tab in comming years and they are releasing new tenders for more companies to come in and manufacture the upgraded version of Aakash Tab along with Datawind.

mOOn HALO

A lot of folks were buzzing about the nearly full moon last night and the clouds that were moving in front of the moons light. The clouds were VERY high in the skies, probably somewhere between 20000-30000 feet and were flowing our way from the big southern storm. On occasion what will happen, especially when the moon is full or close to it, is that a “ring” rill form around the moon. This ring is really called a halo and is a rather common sight in our skies, especially through the fall and winter season.
pic from my home

Sometimes if the clouds are moving through quickly and are sparse in coverage, the halo lasts for only a few minutes or has a tough time actually forming. Other times, like last night, when the stream of clouds is persistent, the halo fully forms and lasts for awhile.
MOON HALO under fluorescent light

from my friend's cam

OK so those are the beautiful pictures…but what exactly causes it?
As I mentioned at the top of the blog, high clouds, called Cirrus clouds moved through the region.  we often talk about these clouds being made from ice crystals. As the moons light passes through the crystals the light reflected and split up (refraction). If the crystals are oriented correctly and positioned just right, them boom you get a harmless “halo”.
Here is the cool thing, one person will see a halo, and if another person is a few miles away or more, since the clouds are oriented a different way, with respect to that person compared to the other person, the halo may look a bit different, and its possible the other person won’t even see a halo at all.
Can a halo happen with the suns light during the day…YES ?
A lot of folks were calling/emailing concerned about this phenomena…in reality it’s harmless and nothing to be concerned about. Oh and guess what the next full moon will be on 10/29…a couple of days before Halloween…who knows maybe Mother Nature will create a more spooky setting just in time for the holiday!
