Vertu + ANDROID HOW it would be ?

Vertu new android phone Ti leaked

The source of the rumor was Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin who claims to possess knowledge of Vertu’s jump to the Android train. But new reports today could prove Murtazin’s claim to be true. Blog of Mobile posted an image of what it claims to be an Android-powered Vertu phone called “Ti.” Having a “RM-828V” model number, the purported Vertu Ti will reportedly run Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, will be powered by a 1.5GHz processor, and will support Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC.

It’s also worth noting that the phone was also spotted across sites like GLBenchmark, Bluetooth.org, and as well as telecom regulator databases in Singapore and Macau. Interestingly, Russian retailer SPBLUX has recently posted four models of a Vertu-branded phone called Constellation Ti. There’s a Red Gold Mixed Metal, Titanium Black Alligator, Titanium Black Leather, and a Titanium Black PVD black leather. What is your take on this?

Updated: A Vertu spokesperson has reached out to us saying that the company is unable to confirm any new product details at this time. Interestingly, the spokesperson said that Vertu will be making an official announcement to the global media on the 12th February. It looks like something is coming.

Vertu Constellation Ti Leaked

It was just yesterday when we wrote to you about the possibility of an Android smartphone from luxury mobile phones manufacturer Vertu. Details of first Android-powered Vertu phone leak

The first pictures and specification details have emerged of the Ti, the first handset built by luxury smartphone maker Vertu, since Nokia sold the company in October as part of its far-reaching cost exercise.

According to Blog of Mobile, the Vertu Ti runs Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, and features a WVGA display, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon processor, is NFC compatible and supports Bluetooth 4.0. What's more, it is expected to retail for a ‘mere' €3000 -- making it one of the most expensive Android handsets on the market but by no means the most expensive Vertu handset ever dreamed up.
The company became famous for its exclusive handsets that incorporated expensive materials including carbon fibre, titanium, leather and even gold, and with its always-on concierge service, Vertu established the market for luxury smartphones. However, since the brand's heyday, other companies, most notably Ulysse Nardin Chairman, whose handsets combine the best elements of a smartphone with the best of a handcrafted Swiss chronograph, have pushed Vertu off its perch.
Although the company is no longer part of Nokia, the innards of the smartphone have been provided by the Finnish company, so technically speaking, the Vertu Ti is Nokia's first Android phone.
